I got tired of having to buy new leashes every couple of months due to my dogs chewing on them and just the leashes looking dirty and grungy from continued usage. I bought two of these and have been completely satisfied since and havent had to buy anymore leashes. The length is just right. I also bought large D rings that petsmart also sells and attached them to the last circle link at the top of the chain for extra comfort. You can also attach doggie bags in a dispenser on the nylon loop.

Our 8 month old pup chewed though 2 nylon leashes in a short time. We needed something that would last so we tried this leash. Pup quickly learned that chewing on this leash was not pleasant, ceasing the behavior. I recommend this product for anyone with a dog who likes to chew.

I bought this leash because my dog chews on the leash a lot, and I heard that a chain leash can help prevent that. Once we got this leash he tried it once and never chewed on it again. The leash is very strong and great quality. The only thing I don't like is when you accidentally get it wrapped around your hand/arm/leg and the chain pinches you....but that would be the case with any chain leash I suppose.
