My adult cats enjoy the litter but my kitten's paws are tiny so the larger granules hurt his paw pads.

We have tried a few brands and this one is the best. We have two cats and it definitely does a good job with odor control.

leaves a bad odor and tracks all over. I clean the litter box 2 or more times a day too. Not pleased with this at all.
I will recommend Dr. Elsey's line. It is the best. well worth it. I want the best for my fur child.

I have 2 cats and sometimes the smell is bad. This litter clumps well and contains the odor. I tried a different product and it didn't work as well so I went back to the tidy cats. They do track a very small amount of the litter around, but it is far less then other litters.

I tried using the tidy cats 24/7 litter but it seemed to smell a lot and had to be replaced sooner. I tried this Instant Action Tidy Cats and it works sooooooo well. I was so happy when people came over and after a while noticed the litter box in the corner and made a comment that they were surprised they hadn't even smelled it! It seems to work best that when you scoop litter every day you mix the litter together releasing odor fighting stuff? Anyway, great litter! Works for me!

I have only one cat but bought the multiple cat litter thinking it would work especially well. It does not clump. My house smells awful. I find myself having to change the entire litter box because I can't scoop it. Hope to find a better one soon!

This litter is fantastic!! Its easy to pour, it clumps and is easy to scoop, and dosn't smell and before your cat uses it it smells SOOO GOOD!!!!

I've used Tidy Cats Instant Action and 24/7 Performance and neither one impressed me. The odor coverage was okay in my opinion, but my boyfriend said he didn't think it covered the odor very well at all and often went around upstairs spraying air freshener to cover the smell. What bothered me more was the smell of the litter itself. It doesn't really smell bad, but it has a strong scent and so our cat would constantly smell like cat litter, which I didn't like. Also, it tracks really bad! It was all over her floor around her litter box, plus she tracked it into our room, onto our bed, and even all the way downstairs. Overall I wasn't impressed with this litter and I wouldn't recommend it.

This litter, when used as directed, is the best ever. It contains odor, clumps well, and is what my cats perfer, because it is not scented.
I recommend it for everyone, especially for those who have more than one cat in the household. Vets recommend that you have 1 litter box per cat PLUS one more; and that the boxes be at least 1 1/2 times as long as your kitty. If you follow these directions, you will have success and happy kitties. We certainly do with our 6 purring fur balls.

Like others, this is the only litter my cats will use, so I had to figure out how to use it. First, it is messy!! So, instead of using a regular litter box, I got a storage bin that is 12" tall. This has helped my kitties to keep the litter in the box instead of throwing it all over the floor. Also, for odor control, I sprinkle a little of the Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deoderizer in each time I clean it out. I have 2 litter boxes in my house and 2 cats. People come over and do not even realize I have cats. No odor!!

This is the only litter my cats will use. My cats will refuse any other brand. So, it has to be good. My only problem with it is that it is very messy and I constantly have to vacuum to keep up with the mess.

I really like this litter! I have 5 kitties and scoop at least 2 times a day..with 5 it's a necessity! If you put the recommended amount in each litter box it does clump the urine and if the kitty will cover the other it will cover the smell as well. I changed litter at one point to find a lighter one, but those results were far less than acceptable. I am now back to this litter and very happy. The trick is absolutly using enough in the litter pan.

the only positive thing about this "instant action" is that there is absolutely no dust which i love. However, it barely clumps feces and doesn't clump urine at all. it does just an ok job at keeping the smell down. i will try one or two of the other Tidy Cats options simply b/c of the no dust before i just give up and move on.

The best cat litter! the scent is perfect. I use a track mat for loose litter, but still seems to be messy. I guess thats what you get with an indoor cat. I have exprienced with other litters, but this it the best! Eliminates odor for sure. I dump all my litter once a week, never scoop.

When I first got my cat, I used this litter. It was great for odor control and clumping, but it tracked EVERYWHERE!!! I had cat litter bits in my bed, all over my carpet, on my pillow, you name it. Even a tracking mat couldn't stop this stuff! I have since switched litters and will never use Tidy Cats again. Maybe if my litter box was on a hardwood floor and I could easily sweep it up I wouldn't mind so much, but it's on carpet and this litter was a nightmare.

I've used Tidy Cats with success in the past. I have two cats and have always gotten compliments on how our house doesn't smell like we have animals. I bought this to try and ended up throwing it away after a couple of weeks. The litter boxes smelled horrible, even after regular scooping. The urine didn't clump at all, which left crumbles that went straight through the sifting scoop. My cats gave up on covering their waste and every time I left the house and returned, I could immediately smell litter boxes. I went back to the 'red' Tidy Cats and it works far better. Bottom line, there is no instant and absolutely NO action with this litter. Don't waste your money!
Cons: messy, Hard to Sift, Doesn't Eliminate Odor
