I am a kitten foster mom for Nine Live Foundation and have to pick up and drop off all kinds of kittens from sick to healthy. The top opening makes it very easy to put sick kittens in the carrier to take to the vet. The front opening works great for the healthy kittens.

I will be buying another one soon.

Pros: easy to assemble, easy to clean, sturdy, price, comfortable

BEST CAT CARRIER EVER!

LOVE IT! Every vet and vet tech that's seen this carrier thinks it's fab.
PROs:
1. The front door can be opened from either the right OR the left AND you can open the top as well.
2. It is sooo easy to get my cats in and out of using the top door. No more having to work hard to get them in a carrier. This helps me avoid frustration; and getting the cats in smoothly and easily helps them to be more calm during the trip and at the vets.
3. Good air flow; air vents/viewing holes on all sides.
4. Has a very soft, absorbent, removable and washable microfiber (I think) pad, which makes it more comfortable and is nice in case of a kitty bladder leak.
5. Has a special compartment to put replaceable kitty calming scents, and they seem to work well. You can, however, also just buy the Nature's Miracle Calming Spray and spray it in the carrier in advance. It works great too.
6. Carrier is easy to assemble/disassemble.
7. All four of my cats like this carrier a lot, which is saying something. I believe this comes in two sizes, but even my big Ragdoll cats fit in the small one with plenty of room to spare for turning around and such.
