I love this dog food! I've made it a habit to read and research product ingredients and found Innova to be the best for my two dogs. I have two Shih Tzu's whom are both 15 yrs. old and other then one losing a little hearing and eye sight, always get a great bill of health from my vet. My dogs are energetic and playful for their age! I really feel this product has attributed greatly to their well being and will never use another food for my pets! Great work Innova, keep it up!

Treats??
I have a very active black lab/chow mix senior named Shango. He has really slowed down this past 6-8 months (I can finally outrun him!) but I credit his longevity to our running and walking twice a day every day of his life (good for me too!). He just developed hip dysplasia and mild arthritis in the last 4 months but he still insists on his twice a day 1-mile walks at a nearby park/creek. I'd started him on the Blue Mature dry dog food last Summer '11 but switched over to Innova this past Spring '12 when I read the ingredient contents compared to the Blue. I believe the additional higher quantity of glucosamine and MSM has made a visible difference in his gait and fewer "flat tires" during our walks (when his back legs give out). I can't address the arthritis other than to say that his most recent x-rays show it hasn't worsened much since last summer.
He really likes the taste of the food--recently I've also added liquid glucosamine to the food to help with eating. He has dry mouth in the morning and isn't enthusiastic about eating without a little help of some liquid. For the price--tends to the pricey side but less than the Blue--this dry dog food has ingredients that I eat too! (fruits, veges, glucosamine, msm, fish oil, vitamins A, etc....).
Definitely a quality product!

I never knew about this product untill one of my friend recommended this. I've been feeding my dacshund Innova her whole life and she seems to be still healthier than most other dogs at age of 14. Recently she lost her hearing though. But it's not the food. And otherwise a perfectly a healthy grandma dog she is. Her joint and back still show no signs of problem at all even though this breed usually suffers from them.
I recommend this product whole lot.
Pros: high quality

I switched my 10 year old mini wirehaired dachshund to this food about a year ago. Within a few days she was acting like a puppy again. I really credit this dog food for saving her life. She had very little energy on her old food. She just acted like she was old. Now, she has energy, wants to go for walks and climbs the stairs fast! I highly recommend this food. It has real ingredients and is not made with bad meat sources. I wish I had known about this food when she was a puppy.
