I bought this in November because my 17 yr old cat was having trouble getting in and out of the hooded litter box. I was just looking for something cheap and big because she had trouble moving in cramped spaces. It worked perfectly for her. She was able to climb in and out of it without too much strain because it's more wide than deep. It's easy to clean. Mine has yet to crack or split like the other reviews mentioned. Also, I like the look of it. The only downside I can think of is the fact that a dog can easily get to the contents of this litter box, as mine demonstrated to me one day. Luckily, he doesn't really bother it, he was just curious. But if he were like other people's dogs, I would definitely keep it out of his reach. Other than that, this litter box is pretty good for the price you pay for it.

Nice design but poor quality

I found the rounded edges to be helpful when scooping but when I went to move the litter box - just three weeks into owning it - it split down the middle. Poor quality plastic.
