I purchased this product from PetSmart because it was a good price compared to other pet stores. I have not been disappointed. I have a 40lb dog that likes to go after squirrels and such and it has never broken when she hits the end of it. It was easy enough to install and I even took it with me when I moved. It does stretch a bit but you can always adjust the cable tightness.
I have had it for a year and am just now replacing the cable part attached to the dog. This is only because it catches on the cement corner of the house and the post I have it attached to and the coating has worn off.
