The protein/fat are adequate, but the third ingredient is corn, which ferrets don't even digest. Ferrets are obligate carnivores and should not be fed grains (corn, wheat, soy, etc) or as little as possible.

I got two new ferrets and mixed this in with their shelter food, and slowly removed the shelter food and they love it! They are happy and healthy! I think the price is pretty good!

Pros: price, high quality, taste
