I used this on my 4 month old kitten after noticing that she was scratching allot. I was naive in thinking indoor cats couldn’t get fleas. Freaking out, I called my vet and asked what the best flea medication available for cats was. She responded Advantage by far. I purchased the one for kittens, applied it to her and watched in amazement as the fleas fell off of her. She no longer scratches so much and I haven’t seen any fleas on her! This also didn’t cause any adverse reactions which made me feel better because she's so tiny, I was concerned. I will continue to purchase this at Petsmart for her!

I went to the store to get a good product to kill fleas on my poor kitty. Sadly for me that I spend a lot of money and sad for my kitty the product did't work!

When I notice my kitten had some fleas on him I got Advantage right away. The next day I didn't see any on him and I still haven't to this day. Advantage works really well and has made my kitten itch free again!

I applied this to my cat last night for the first time. She is a tabby so I can't see fleas on her if she was a white cat, but I know she had many. I put a white sheet on the bed where she sleeps. This morning there were many fleas on the sheet that used to be on her. She purrs more and scratches less. I was suprised how quickly it works. I know she is happier and so am I.

I noticed Flea Dirt on 2 of my 4 cats the other day and then used a flea comb on them, I found about 9 fleas total. I immediately went to a local Petsmart to purchase flea meds for all of them.

I had always purchased the original Advantage for them in the past, as it was highly recommended to me for them by their vet. I was thrilled to see that Petsmart now carried a variation of it in their store! I was a bit nervous because I had never used this new formula (Advantage II Cat, Small Cat 5-9ibs) but I decided to try it out.

This formula is wonderful! Its way less runny than the original, which was one issue I had using it in the past. One of my girls has very fine fur so a less runny flea med makes giving it to her a lot easier!

Another huge improvement is that the smell is not as strong with this one! Which is a big plus because my oldest girl would always run and hide the second I would open it up in the past.

The directions said that fleas would die within 12 hours, I waited a bit longer than that and checked them all with a flea comb.. None! I've also treated my home (with a different product) to help avoid reintroducing fleas to them.

The only reason I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that its a little confusing trying to pick which weight category to purchase. Its clear for heavier cats but when you have a cat that is fully grown but bordering on the 5ibs side its not too clear if you should get the formula meant for Kittens (5ibs and under) or Small Cat (5-9ibs). Thankfully there was a Petsmart employee that had a lot of knowledge about this product and could help me decide which route to take after I explained my situation.
