I have had this litter pail for about a month now and I have ZERO complaints. This really saves time and multiple plastic bags everyday. I scoop my cat box at least 6 to 8 times a day because I am a clean freak and it is so convenient to have the pail to dump contents in. It saves on plastic bags in our land fill.
The pail is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to replace refill cartridge. Great product!

I love, love, love my Litter Locker II, couldn't live without it. I have a 2 story town home & my cat's litter box is on the 2nd floor so to empty the box & take a bag to the dumpster daily is a hassle. The Litter Locker II does a great job of storing the used cat litter & holding the smell in. Not to mention it's super easy to use. This is definitely worth the money spent!!

I have used the original litter locker for over 5 years, but his new one is such a huge improvement! So easy to just drop the "stuff" in, pull out the tab, and voila, it disappears! I have one cat (16-lbs) and he "goes" frequently. I've had the unit for a month and am just now getting ready to replace the bag!

I bought the LitterLocker II a month or so ago and it is worth every penny I paid for it. I change the bag once a week, and even though it took me a little bit of experimenting to get it right, and I did waste some bags in the process, I have only used one roll so far. The main problem I had was that I put the bag cartridge in upside down. Once I realized what was wrong, it's been great ever since. It really keeps the smell inside, even when you open it to scoop. Definitely an improvement over what I was using before - an old litter pail and garbage bags.

I hesitated to get this and even teased that it was like a diaper genie........I'm here to say this is an excellent product. We have had this for a little over a month now and still have room for more to go into the first bag!

We have only one cat and he's an indoor/outdoor cat, but he's been in a lot more lately as it's wintertime. But I can honestly say that it keeps all the nasty contained.....smell and all!

We also bought a new liter box at the same time and it was the Budda one w/stairs - do have to say these two items together are awesome! We have two dogs as well that continued getting into the liter box and with both of these items they cannot get in!!! This is one satisfied customer!

Brilliant!

I live in an apartment where walking to the trash everyday when I scoop is impractical (especially in winter) This has been a life-saver. There is no odour, I have to cut off a bag about every 5 days, and even out of the unit there is lttle to no odour from the bags. I have found that Diaper Genii II liners fit perfectly, are cheaper and easier to find.
Excellent product, I love it.

This is an excellent product. I love that I don't have to worry about finding a grocery bag with no holes in the bottom to scoop litter. I usually change out the litter locker bag once a week. I cannot detect any smell coming from the container and I have a very sensitive sniffer! I read some of the previous reviews rating this product lower because of the way the bags drop. I strongly suspect they have installed the ring incorrectly or maybe got a defective refill. I have never experienced a problem except for one time when I put the refill in upside down! Operator error! I love this product. Such a simple concept. It really makes litter patrol easier & less distasteful!

Absolutely love this accessory for my cats. I now have three and I couldn't just keep changing the litter out (my two males go outside all the time, but having the new female is having me keep everyone inside for now). So, to save money, I am scooping. This makes it easy and convenient. Don't have to get another garbage bag or have a bag sitting nearby that smells like cat waste. No smell and easy to use!

I would highly recommend this product if you do no want to deal with dumping bags everyday. We have one kitten and use clumping litter. We only need to throw out the bag about every 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. It is easy to use and bad odor does not comes out of it. It is almost like a diaper genie.

Our family is very happy with this product.

My boyfriend and I were new time cat owners. We hadn't anticipated what the smell of soiled litter would do, which was silly. At first, we used plastic bags, but it was highly annoying as we cleaned the little everyday and threw the used bags out instantly. (Who wants that smelly mess left lying around? Even in a plastic bag?)

We bought this product and it solved the problem easily. There is positively NO smell! It's not even very noticeable and it fits almost anywhere. (In our case, around the litter box.) It's also easy to clean when you need to dismantle it!

I would give it a full rating HOWEVER, I must note that the refills are expensive and towards the end of it's life, the bag gets pulled inwards - causing you to pretty much waste 2 weeks worth of a bag. (As the bag basically falls into itself.) Other then this problem, everything else is pretty good.

The litter locker makes scooping very quick, easy and mess free. It takes up almost no room and reduces the number of disposal bags I use. Typically I use one grocery bag a day to get rid of the litter box waste. Now, it goes into the receptacle and a week or two can go by. Then I take 1 bag out. The best part is- I smell nothing. It is a great product.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes to keep clean. This is just what the doctor ordered! I use a clumping litter, so it did fill up to the top in a weeks time. I plan to use garbage bags in the future, instead of buying refills. Remember to save the empty refill to help hold your bag in place. I love the bag cutter, it works really well. The only thing it is missing, is a handle to carry from one room to the other. I love the fact that my garbage can doesn't smell now!

Poor bag release design

On first look, the product is a clever idea. However, the ring that releases the plastic bag is poor in implementation. It tends to clump the litter at the top of the compartment, pulling more and more bag from the ring, causing extensive release of the bag on one side only. This wastes the bags, which is very expensive, if you buy their refill system. I am going to use grocery bags, as they won't clog up, and are much cheaper!!

I am really disappointed with this pail. It is very difficult to open, hold open to dispose of the litter...it catches your hand in between and is just a pain. I wish I had not spent the money on it. A plastic bag and an old litter pan would have been better. :(

I was skeptical at first but this is fantastic. It really helps with odors and you dont have to take out a bag of litter everyday. The only thing I dont like is that my lid got cracked and the top comes off really easily but aside from that, its great. I can handle the cons over the fact it makes scooping litter SO much easier and lets face it, no one enjoys doing that!

fantastic product!!! so easy to use. for my own peace of mind, i put a box of the refridgerator baking soda in the bottom of the pail even though it is not needed. since the litter box has it's own scoop, i use the handy scoop holder to hold a bottle of hand sanitizer. i have had this product 6 weeks and i am still on the first cartridge of bags and i change it twice a week. i would highly recommend this product.
