I breed Dobermans and Gizmo(the mamma) had eight puppies. The pen was durable when the pups were jumping and chewing on it. Gizmo jumps in and out of it, but the puppies are securely contained. It's not really big enough, especially with a x-small crate in it. But that's okay because the pups don't spend all their time inside of it. When they were still nursing it was a good size. It's ok for one large adult dog or even two medium.
Pros: easy to assemble, sturdy

Bought this to contain 7 Aussie/Lab mix pups. When connected end to end was not large enough but ok when attached to a large crate with twisty ties. Momma dog (45# Aussie) could jump over the top but puppies could not, and it held up to their chewing and jumping on sides. Gate was easy to use but latch is now a little off kilter but operable. Overall sturdy and practical.

Disappointed with it

Good design but connectors on top are made of plastic and are flimsy. I like that it folds and has the door, but, I have not had this pen long and four of the plastic connectors on the top of the corners have broken. At first we tried gluing the plastic together but it did not stay. The company replaced the first broken plastic piece, but, three more pieces have since broken. I then used twist ties to keep the two ends together. That works as long as we are home. He recently had back surgery and needs to stay confined for 6 weeks. We went out tonight and came home to find that our mischievous dachshund had broken out of the pen. We need to find a sturdier one. If you need to keep your dog
confined when you are not home, don't get this pen.
