The catnip will attract grown cats. The toy seems to be more durable than most kickers i've found. Sadly, it is only 9 inches long, instead of the 12 inches as stated in the description. I ordered it for my big boy who loves to kick. My smaller cats do well with it, but my gigantic black and white boy, who loves the nip, can't get a good kick on it.

I got this toy for my kitten to cuddle with at night, but it's filled with some type of plastic paper bag type material that makes a lot of noise when squeezed. I guess it just depends on your individual cats tastes, but my kitten has completely ignored this toy. He doesn't seem to like it at all. He seems to prefer to play with things that roll, like balls, etc.

It's hard for us to find cat toys that actually entertain our cat. After buying a different Kong toy that we had great success with, I went back for more. Our cat absolutely loved the green frog. I am now a loyal Kong customer like many of my dog-owner friends. The toys have kept our cat entertained for hours and are reasonably priced.

The one downside to this product is that it sheds when first opening it, but since I already have a shedding pet, it was now big deal.

Our Siamese love his toys but this one is the favorite! He has the purple raccoon and if anyone touches it, he goes nuts! We have to hide the toy at night so he will not wake anyone up. It's very tough. It has been washed, beaten by the cat, beaten by a toddler, and survived everything. We will be getting another soon!

Pros: durable, Keeps Pet Entertained, easy to wash
