I bought this plant for in my Betta's tank. It's a little too tall for his tank (Top Fin's 3.5 gallon half-moon tank), but it hides the cord for his heater pretty well. I have it against the back wall of the tank. It looks fairly realistic, and it is very soft. No worries about Simo catching his fins on it.
