Have had this product for over a year! Have four cats (one with all claws). Catches litter as promised. Urine has never soaked through. Easy to clean. After a year - it is time to replace - some spots are showing age (as with any product). Best investment I ever made. Saves my floors and sanity!

I was very unsatisfied with this product. There was more litter dragged out and around than there was when I had just a regular rug there. I got rid of it after 3 days. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Hi, I have been using these mats for many years-I do replace them now and then.
These mats really catch the litter that gets caught in cats paws as they climb out of box. Also litter they scatter while digging in box. I have a very large cat over 16lbs-whose butt always has to be at the end of box. Mats are easy to pick up and shake out loose litter that falls in the sections of mat. I rinse my mats off now and then--I notice people complain that mats aren't water proof--well that is not the purpose of these mats---they are to cut down on the amount of litter that gets tracked out of litter box. I for one will continue to use this mats as they cover a large area--I place mat completely under large litter box- Try the mat- you will be pleased.

I love this litter mat. I bought it because I was tired of the cats leaving litter all over the bathroom floor. Not fun to step on in the middle of the night. But this mat took care of the problem. I have 2 giant litter boxes, and this mat fits in front of both perfectly. The mat also cleans up great, I shake it out and get most of the litter out everyday after cleaning the litter boxes, then all I need to do is sweep the floor. For washing I put the mat in the bathtub with some soap and a small amount of bleach, (I have the black and white tiger stripe) and wipe with a rag, then just hang over my curtain rod to dry.

I have have one of these mats for each litter box I have (four). I pair it with another smaller mat right in front (one of those paw print ones with the "pegs" to open up the paws to get the litter out). Between these two mats, most of the litter is contained. I use Swheat Scoop which is a very light litter and without these mats, got everywhere! I have had a couple cats have accidents and peed on the little mat with overflow onto this one and not one drop leaked through to my floor. I was surprised. I was able to fold it up, take it outside and spray it off with the hose. The only cleaner I have used on this mat is Nature's Miracle which I spray on, let sit five minutes and then spray off outside with the hose. That gets it clean enough. Two of these mats, I have owned for four years so I have not had problems with them falling apart. A couple chunks have come out here and there from my cats scratching, but that's it. Overall, I would recommend these mats.

I just wanted a mat that covered a lot of space to catch more litter. I use covered boxes, so I don't have any worries about any mess coming out of the box. (Would rather clean the hood than the floor, walls, furniture...)
This works perfectly for that - catching DRY matter. Just big enough to catch the litter from their paws for their first few steps out of the box - that gets almost all of it.
Just a warning, it is NOT vacuum-able. The vacuum gets stuck and also lifts the printed pattern off the top of the mat. Do NOT try to clean it this way! Just pick it up, fold it in half and tip it into the garbage can (or bag) and the litter will slide off. It IS bleachable, so it can be cleaned that way when necessary.

This mat is horrible. Like other reviews stated, it leaks terribly and falls apart quickly. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing (it was an impulse buy, unfortunately).
A waste of $16!

This is okay for a temporary fix, it leaks moisture and it falls apart if you try to clean it, mine looks horrible it just keeps falling into pieces, waste of money.

I was really hoping to get a good litter mat for my cat that had less than ideal litterbox habits. Sometimes he'd miss over the edge, so urine would leak around the sides. Sometimes he'd miss over the edge when doing #2. He always ran out of the litter box like he just saw the devil after doing his thing, so there was no slow exiting to let him get the litter off his paws, either.
Throughout the time I found that this mat really wasn't great. Firstly, I found that moisture seemed to seep right through the mat, so it didn't do too much to protect my hardwood floors from cat urine.
Secondly, I found the mat really hard to clean. The crevices were really hard to get a paper towel in and at some point the mat just started to disintegrate from the cleaners and rubbing. It looked horrible by the time I was done with it, with chunks of the mat falling off. It is by no means durable.
I would not recommend this product. Get something with a better material.
