First let me say that I don't often use Tetra foods. Why? I don't like that they include artificial colors in their ingredients. These are not necessary, and I don't like my lads and lassies eating anything but the most high-quality foods.

That being said, I can't deny that these seem to be the most delicious algae wafers on the market. My snails and corys find them absolutely scrumptious, and my goldfish can't leave them alone. Even my shy clown plecostomus will come out to eat these wafers. (For those concerned readers, I don't have all these fish in the same tank.) The good ingredients seem to outweigh the bad, and this is the one Tetra product I will regularly put in my tanks.

My sister has 5 aquatic snails and an algae eater even though her tank is immaculate. I told her the poor things would starve and got her these pellets which was the first thing I saw at PetSmart. The snails and eater absolutely love them. I broke one up into four and the algae eater immediately attacked it and ate it. The snails took their time but ate their bit as well. I feed the snails and eater every other day, the pellets don't cloud the tank and they work great. I just wish it came in a bigger bag.
