I have two five and 1/2 year old cats, brother and sister, who normally got along very well and never were jealous or fighting. They are neutered and spayed. My 96 year old father was living with me and they were devoted to him. However, once he got sick and went into a nursing home, these cats became very upset, especially the male cat. He was very jealous of his sister and could not stand her getting on the bed or getting any attention from me. He would lunge at her, mount her (dominance behavior) and bite her on the back of the neck. I would stop him when I saw him doing it, and rescue her. It was making her nuts and he was driving her crazy. I took him to the vets for a checkup and blood tests and they came back fine. My vet recommended Feliway spray, but my male cat has asthma and I did not want him breathing that in, so I tried this Whisker City formula. It is miraculous. The cats are both much calmer and his unwanted behavior has nearly completely stopped. Right now they are both sleeping on my bed, calm as can be, and he lets her alone and doesn't bother her. I will probably keep my cats on this product permanently.

I have watched my cat for a few years, crying out when I touched her or she lay down. I bought this product hoping it would help me calm her to a reasonable level to just routinely clip her nails maybe brush her. She now looks like a comfortable kitty and I can groom her easier but no miracles of course.

This product works really well. When we adopted our cat almost a month ago, she was not only scared to come out of hiding, but when she did she would run around acting fairly hyper. Once we began administering the calm down in a small dose once every morning, she not only became more social but a lot calmer with a lot less running around/acting hyperactive for no reason. We only used the product once daily in a very small dose and not twice daily as recommended for about two weeks and it did the trick. It couldn't be any easier to administer and comes at a great price. I highly recommend this for anyone with a cat this is skiddish/not very social or very hyperactive that you would like to see become calmer. This product works wonders.

I have 6 cats that live inside my house - 4 females, 2 males. All cats were spayed/neutered when they were kittens. I have 6 litter boxes. The last female cat that I rescued is now around 3-4 years old. In the last few months, she began spraying. She has friends amongst the other cats in the house. I bought this product since the reviews were so positive. I began giving her this product orally, twice per day, close to 2 weeks ago. I use a syringe. She is not crazy about taking this product. After 20 minutes, she is a very happy, laid back camper! She has not sprayed in my house since she has been taking this product. I was very skeptical, but, hey, it really does work. If you are having a problem with one of your cats, by all means, use this product. It is a tried and true product (by me)! I give this one a BIG THUMBS UP :)

I just loved this product my cat is so sensitive and this stuff really worked to calm her down. i was so happy I could get her to take the medicine and it worked It did not make her sleep all day, but it helped her to rest easier while we were moving furniture around. I just love this product.

I have 4 cats, 3 males and one female who is the oldest of them all. The Boys Agitate my girl, so everyone gets a capful in their food and life is good again. This stuff is the bomb.

We have a fairly high-strung cat (Maine Coon female, 3 yrs old) who does NOT like to travel - screams her head off and is not a happy camper.
When planning an almost-20-hour drive over the summer, we asked the vet, "What can we do to keep her calmed down and safe, but not knocked out?"
They suggested some fairly heavy-duty medication, and that was not what we wanted.
Then someone mentioned an herbal, OTC product. While at PetSmart, I decided to ask them if THEY had any "chill-out product" for travel with pets.
Whisker City "Calm Down" is quite good for travelling -- and for when you GET to your destination. Why? Well, with our "little girl," any place new freaks her out ... so, by putting a cap-full (which equals 1 tspn) twice a day into her drinking water, makes her less frenetic, as well as let's US sleep because SHE'S sleeping .... aaahhh, what a relief.
Oh, and the driving? It's still best to have a LITTLE bit of Vet-med, and some of the CALM DOWN - but not much with the Vet-Med!
Enjoy a pleasant, less-stressful vacation...
