I picked this up when I got a new kitten and my roommate's cat was trying to do her best to terrorize him! After just a few minutes of spraying the product the first time, my roommates kitty calmed down and went to sleep. This doesn't happen every time I spray it, but I'm very thankful for when it does. You should definitely give it a try before buying the more expensive kinds...you can always return it if not stisfied.
Pros: works great

I live with 4 adult cats and most of the time they get along pretty well, but whenever there is a change in their environment (like holidays) they freak out and start picking on one another. This spray has saved Christmas for our house. A couple of sprays on their usual sleeping places and the fights have stopped. It's not major behaviour modification, all of ours are generally pretty well adjusted, but in stressfull situations it certainly works to put them at their ease.
Pros: easy to administer, works great

I took in two cats from a friend that was not able to bring them where she moved.
They were both SO scared; and would not come out of hiding. I took the At Ease; and sprayed it in my door jams, around the litter box, around my couch (next to a window)...and pretty much anywhere I wanted them to be.
You have to commit to it. I sprayed at least twice a day. Sometimes up to 5. They came out, ate, sat on the couch; and pretty much everywhere we put it.
I also sprayed their carriers 10 minutes before we left for the vet. They WALKED RIGHT IN!!!
These are two cats who are only 1 year old. They have NEVER been around children; and only had one owner. They didn't come out at first; but have let us pet them from the start (just by spraying this before they came).
They now are walking around (tails held high); and interacting with my children.
The noise level will never change in my house; so I was really worried about bringing them here. I am telling you...If you really commit; I think this helps.
A lot of it is your overall body language as well. However...I really believe this helped.

I bought this for furniture scratching & going to the vet. Sprayed corners of chair & sofa twice daily for 3 weeks & noticed no change in scratching behaviour. Sprayed inside crates & on towels for the trip to the vet today & it did no good at all. Both cats cried in the car as usual. I'm going to try the more expensive Comfort Zone spray next time & see how it works.
