This product is wonderful! The settup is very easy for both beginners and advanced aquarium owners. Since the tank includes a filter I did not have to waste money on a new one. The filter is SILENT too. The only thing I was disapointed about was that I had to go buy a heater. The tank is very sturdy and my guppies look beautiful in it! This tank gets an A+! (:

I needed a reasonably sized tank to hold my goldfish in, and this tank fit the picture!
Great quality, and not too hard on the wallet!
Not only was the tank of great quality, but the kit came with vital essentials that got me off to a great start in caring for my goldfish!
THe filter came with cartridges that were easily replaceable, and it is so quiet!
I love this tank so much and would recommend it to anyone hoping to hold some beginner fish!

This tank is perfect for the aspiring hobbyist. You get almost everything you're going to need for start up. And the price is very affordable for all you get. I bought this to setup a community of White Cloud's. Right now i have 6 White clouds and 2 ghost shrimp. The white clouds have alot of space and the tank is the perfect size for a community of small fish. It's not at al crowded and im actually contemplating adding another 2 white clouds next month.

Here's some things you might want to know before purchasing this though, at least in my opinion. First of all, the lid can be a quite tedious thing to deal with. If you're using a airstone or any airline tubing prepare for some vibration from the hood. To counteract this i places small circular rubber pads on each corner and the vibration stopped, also make sure you find a way for the airline tubing and airstone to NOT touch any glass or else you're going to have some vibrations.

Another thing to keep in mind, the filter is kind of weak. Depending what fish/setup you have you might need to buy a additional filter. I recommend a secondary internal filter for two reasons, you can service your main filter and not destroy all of your precious bacteria keeping your fish alive. Additionally you can also put more fish into your tank, you don't have to clean it as often, and if one filter ever breaks down you're still okay. The filter i chose is the Marina i25 and it costs around 15 bucks which is worth the job it does.

So overall, i say buy this tank with a air pump and air-stone, a better water conditioner, a internal filter and some great decorations. At the end of the day this is a great setup and you'll be happy with this set up. Mine has been up and running for 1 year with absolutely no deaths.

I love this tank because of the space and easy setup. I won some fish at a fair and I put them in a spare plastic container. Soon enough the container began to leak. =[ Soooooo... I bought this one! It fits perfectly on my dresser stand. And my four goldfish are doing swimingly!

My sister bought this tank along with 3 goldfish. It worked O.K. until the fish started getting really big. The water was getting really cloudy and the walls slimy after only 4 days after cleaning, so she upgraded to a 25-gallon aquarium. It worked great, but soon she noticed that one of the fish was attacking the others. Luckily we still had this tank so we put the attacking fish in the aquarium and now I'm taking care of her. The tank is working great for her, and she seems to be very happy with a filter, heater, lamp, air pump, and decor. All in all I'd recommend this tank for a solitary goldfish but not for a community tank.

I bought this tank yesterday and I love it! I bought one from Walmart about 3 years ago and thought that one was good until I got this one! The filter is so quite, it took me about 10 minutes to set up! It comes with everything you need from food to water conditioner! I already had a heater so that's why I went for the gold fish set up tank instead( if you want tropical fish and don't have a heater get the "aquarium start up tank from top fin")

The tank, overal, is a splendid tank.
But the lid is the worst lid I've ever had. The feeding flap gathers so much water on it and it drips everywhere. I also have one of those air pumps and my tank sits on an aquarium stand. It's not the vibrating from the pump but the lid shaking that makes so much noise!
If you don't have an air pump it's a great tank but if you do I wouldn't recommend it.

Very good. Comes with filter,heater,food,stress coat,stress zyme and instructions. I don't like the filter. Gets dirty easily and you are supposed to be able to just rinse it and put it back in but that doesn't work.The price was good considering that everything seperate would have been over $50. The heater alone would have been around $20. Otherwise very good and no leaks. I think I was missing something for the filter. I think there was supposed to be a knob for flow on the filter because the instructions kept mentioning it but I couldn't find one.

First I have to mention that the filter this kit comes with is so quiet. I love it. Very quiet. In addition to the kit I bought a submersible water heater because of the tropical fish I am getting. My kit came with water conditioner and dechlorinator which was awesome it saved me some money to buy the plants. It does not come with gravel so I bought 2 five pound bags of black gravel for about $4 dollars a bag. You only really need two bags. Wash the gravel first! I also bought a submersible thermometer for about 3 bucks which I love. The water heaters are expensive at petsmart so I bought one for 10 bucks at Walmart it works great. I considered buying test strips but a cool associate said it wasn't necessary for a 10 gallon tank because its smaller you can just take a water sample to petsmart and they have strips to test it for free. I filled my tank half with 5 gallons of drinking water and the rest with tap water cuz I ran out. I put the aquasafe plus in about a teaspoon waited a lilttle then took my water sample to the store and it was perfect.

I purchased this tank for a goldfish who outgrew his old tank. The second day, one of the bulbs blew and I had to buy a new one. We don't live close to a PetSmart so that was difficult. Also, the filter system does not keep the water clear even after 5 water changes. Not impressed at this point.

Pros: good price, included most items

I got this tank last summer for my freshwater community tank so far I'm very satisfied with the results. It doesn't leak, it comes with lid, a filter and a bunch of trials. Only problem is that the water evaporates fast but I shouldn't complain because it's for a great price. I would recommend this to anyone especially beginners.
