The bacteria is great in helping to jump start a cycle on a new tank, and great after a large water change to help maintain the cycle.

The stress coat is great for fish going through changes, such as a decor change, a tank change, a new fish added...
It also has aloe vera in it that helps fish heal...for example one of my cichlids got too aggressive and had to be removed, well, he managed to do some damage to the other two cichlids' fins...this product helped them heal up a bit faster without using possible harmful medications.
