I previously used another scooper i got from petsmart, which did the job- but it fell off a table & cracked so i had to buy a new one. I opted for this one, and am so glad i did! its so much thicker & sturdier than the other one. Makes an unpleasant job a little easier :)

This is a great product to have. yes some doodiegets stuck in the jaw if it is too wet, but it hoses right off. Easily hangs on fence or anywhere else you need to keep it. The only problem i have had is I have a lot of wire grass and the claw grabs that too and it snags and takes a time or two to pick up a pile. If you have a lot of bermuda or wire grass a rake and pan may be better option...

Scoop with Rake & Spade

I keep my two dogs in a backyard that has cement floors, a large cement house that has my washing machine in it and space for them to lounge in there with beds and toys and such.

So there's no grass anywhere.

Which means! I clean my backyard daily, because it's honestly just nasty to leave that out there for more than a day! Well before I used to pick them up with the little baggies but that honestly became wasteful, I'd waste too many rolls in just a few days! And also came the problem of them drying there, so I wouldn't be able to get them off without forcing something under it (in this case it was my shovel). My dogs LIVE (since it's more of a room with half a ceiling than a yard) in the backyard, so I don't get it fresh.

This system works WONDERS! I don't have to bend down or anything, I simply use the spade, then the rake to scoop it up and I'm done.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!

My review is for the one on the right in the picture. The plastic is very flimsy and breaks easily. It's not good for heavy use. I have seven dogs and it can't hold up. So I switched to the top paw metal pan. This has been thrown away.

Works great for one load at a time on hard surface

I've always used the traditional spade and shovel scooper but thought I'd give this type a try. It's made well (sturdier than the others they sell). But if you pick up a poo in one location you can't reopen it and pick up another, or the first one falls out. So you have to pick up one at a time and empty it out. Also, I was using it on grass. Not good. It can't get below the poo to grab it, so you wind up grabbing the sides of the poo, which means the little grabber teeth get filled with poo. It would work well on a hard surface, but you'd still only be able to pick up one load at a time.

I always purchase this type of jaw scoop. They save on the back and you do not have to touch anything. I put a plastic bag in a bucket and walk around the yard picking up. Very simple and easy. I have two rescue dogs and one that I bought so I always have plenty to pickup. They usually last about 2 - 3 years. Then I purchase another.

I bought the smaller scooper years ago and wore it out! Love it, saves my back and makes it much easier to keep yard clean. It finally broke after years of leaving it out in all weather conditions. I am buying a new one!

I have six dogs and needing to clean up feces is must around my yard! I am not impressed at all. I have to make multiple trips to the garbage can to dump it… The flat handle is horrible too. It needs to have a bend in it to make it easier to scoop the feces up. Also, the plastic is so flimsy that it broke really easily in less than a month of use. I would never get another one of these! They’re not worth the money!!!

I hated having to touch my dogs stuff even though it was thru a bag so i bought this.. it works great but i would suggest using a bag to cover ur dogs stuff then use the scoop to scoop up both if not ur gonna have to clean the scooper and it can get messy between the jaws... other than that this is great!

I recently purchased this product at my local Petsmart. I used it for the first time this evening and this thing is unbelievable. I am 6 ft 5 and man it was so easy and great to not have to bend over. The clean up was great and it got every piece in the grass.
Excellent product I was very impressed, in fact I think everyone should have one:)
